LUCAA+ Pet Allergy-Free contains ‘good’ (probiotic) bacteria, naturally sourced from plants. These helpful probiotics restore natural and healthy balance to the skin (the microbiome).

  • Prevents allergies.
  • Significantly reduces itching.
  • Eliminates organic allergens (food for the probiotics).
  • Easy to use: spray directly to fur and surrounding surfaces.
  • Made with natural and controlled ingredients.

The spray is also certified vegan and cruelty-free.

Protects Pets from Bio-Allergens that Trigger Symptoms

Pet allergy prevention is increasingly needed as atopic allergies in pets are becoming more common. They are caused by seasonal and environmental triggers including dust mite, pollen, mould spores and chemicals. Dust mites live in house dust and fabric-covered surfaces such as curtains and bedding. They produce droppings around twenty times a day, which can trigger uncomfortable reactions.

In addition, household cleaning products can contain chemicals that significantly impact the health of pets. This increases the need for dog skin allergy prevention. Switching to our probiotic pet-safe cleaning products will help.

You can find out more about seasonal skin allergies in dogs from the Guide to Seasonal Allergies in Dogs by our friends at Better Pet in the USA.

For animals with seasonal and environmental allergies, a broader approach may be required. The Dog Skin Allergy Remedy Pack is a complete dog atopic allergy prevention solution. This protects the animal more fully from allergen triggers on their skin as well as in their living environment – their home, kennel and car.

The spray is safe and beneficial for other pets too, including cats. Always contact your vet before use if in doubt.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use LUCAA+ Dog Skin Allergy Spray for my Cat?

Yes, this spray is safe and beneficial for cats or for any other pet that has an atopic allergy. Always check with your vet first if in doubt.

Why should I use LUCAA+ Dog Skin Allergy Spray?

LUCAA+ Dog Skin Allergy Spray soothes itchy dog skin in seconds and actively removes the bad bacteria causing irritation. The magic ingredient is ‘good’ bacteria (probiotics), a natural remedy that vets are increasingly using and recommending to dog owners.

Why is my Dog Itching all of a Sudden?

Dogs have relatively thick skin, but this can easily be irritated by allergies, mites, skin infections and insect bites. In the summer months, fleas are a common cause of itching.

One of the relatively unknown causes of dog itching is household cleaning products like kitchen sprays and odour removers, which often contain chemicals that trigger an allergic reaction on dog skin (if your dog leaves the room when you spray, this is probably why).

What can I Spray on my Dog to Stop Itching?

You can stop your dog itching with LUCAA+ Dog Skin Allergy Spray. This topical skin allergy spray alleviates itching by soothing your dog’s itchy skin and removing the harmful bacteria that is causing the itching. The probiotics in this spray are a miracle ingredient that vets are using to improve skin discomfort in dogs.

How can I Soothe my Dog’s Irritated Skin?

If your dog has irritated skin it’s important to figure out why this is the case. If there is nothing obvious causing the irritation, we recommend visiting your vet for advice. Your dog may have a condition that requires medication.

Is Probiotic Skin Spray Safe for Dogs?

Yes, LUCAA+ Dog Skin Allergy Spray is safe and trusted by veterinarians. It contains no toxins, allergens, pollutants, parabens or animal ingredients. It is plant-based, eco-friendly and chemical-free, making it safe for use on dogs, cats and other furry friends.

Our probiotic dog skin spray often relieves itching immediately after application, but can take a longer period of time to take effect depending on the cause of the itching and your dog’s medical history. When applied twice per day for one week, dog itching is usually significantly reduced. The dosage can be reduced to one spray per day after one week.

Instructions

To use our Pet Skin Allergen Care, ensure your pet is as clean as possible for best results. Shake before use. Spray LUCAA+ Allergen-Free directly onto the coat and brush through gently to ensure an even application.

Depending on the severity and the size of the animal – apply twice daily for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce as required. It is beneficial to spray on any exposed skin areas – and to spray the animal’s living and sleeping environment, including bedding and collars.  Suitable for use indoors and outdoors.

IMPORTANT: Always consult a vet if in doubt or if symptoms persist. Read our Open Letter to Vets for further information.

Veterinary Recommendation for Using LUCAA+ Pet Allergen-Free Spray:

“Regarding application, I use your guidelines but would add that priority should go to contact and hairless areas of the dog’s body; so paws, tummy, groin, armpits and ears (hairless area often exposed to environmental allergens) and any skin folds that a specific patient may have e.g. around the vulva or on the face as with most brachycephalic breeds.

As a rule of thumb, we say two applications per day for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce to ‘as needed’.

How much to spray on each time is again dependent on the severity of the condition (and size of the dog). There is about 200 sprays from each 300ml bottle so there is no need for the owner to hold back (and no negative effect from the sprays).

So, 4-5 sprays on each side of a lab size animal would result in 2 applications per day for, say, 4 days (80 sprays); followed by 1 application per day for 4 days (40 sprays); leaving a third of the container left for ‘as required’ applications.” Dr. Richard Doyle, Wylie Vets, Brentwood.

It’s early days, but the improvement (after using LUCAA+ Pet Allergy-Free and Pet Shampoo) in one day is unreal. My dog was covered in spots on his back and they’ve looked quite sore and inflamed recently. I washed him with the shampoo and have applied the allergy spray 3 times and the difference already is night and day. Doesn’t look red and inflamed anymore, spots all seem to scabbing over and healing. It’s been an ongoing issue for quite a while now. I’ve tried absolutely everything from switching foods to adding supplements, buying special shampoos and of course vet treatment, which helped for a short while. I’m very happy to recommend a product that does what it says and is a lot safer and healthier for us and are pets.

Just had some fantastic feedback about LUCAA+ Pet Allergy Free spray… within 48 hours itching and the marks from scratching gone!

I got the Allergy Spray and Probiotic Shampoo for my little Bichon. He’d had a terrible problem itching, having to wear a plastic cone any time I wasn’t watching him to prevent him from creating wounds from scratching. I couldn’t work out why he was itching. My holistic vet suggested the probiotic shampoo and I decided to also get the allergy and room sprays. His coat felt lovely after using the shampoo and his itching reduced. Using the spray regularly the itching went away completely. I think it is an environmental allergy to grass or some such, and the allergy spray completely deals with it. Very happy with the result as it is natural so is good for my dog and relieves him from the terrible state he was in.

Just started using the allergy spray and shampoo on my mini Schnauzer who suffers in the summer with incredibly itchy, dry and uncomfortable skin problems. Wow, these products are amazing. One bath and one week of sprays and its all under control. No more frantic itching and scratching. One happy dog who now smells amazing. Will definitely be buying more and will look at other products too.

I bought this for my miniature schnauzer who has seasonal allergies. She is an assistance dog and an agility dog, so she spends lots of time outside. We needed to find a way to manage her allergies as well as her being able to do her job and activities. This spray has made such a difference in just a week! She’s gone from chewing her paws and itchy ears to not being bothered at all. 🙂
